i have a 99 dakota 4x4 and i put blocks under my leaf springs and i tightened my torsion bars and my back end is still higher what can i do to raise my front end since my torsion bars are allready as tight as they can go? websites? help?
You should ask in the 2nd gen section since you're front end is different than ours..(3rd gen)
Would lifting only a couple of inches damage any suspension linkage. Ive heard that lifting tgese trucks causes premature wear on joints. Anyone have that problem?

Any lift will cause more wear on the front end, the higher the leveling kit, the more wear will occur.
So replaced the struts. Oddly enough the struts alone added a good inch.
I used a billet aluminum puck and had it modified to provide only 1.85" lift, not full 2".
Someone said the that the struts will settle over time. The instructions with the struts said it would sit higher til it settles.
But now the front sits 1" higher than back ( I have helper springs in back).
So ill just put 1" block in back.
I also changed out all but 1ball joint, stabilizers, and a CV axel.
I got a deal on new set of pull offs 265/65-18 Yokohama Geolanders for $300. It looks like I could have gone even larger but o well. Picture is still with old tires on it.
Windows Movie maker on a PC is free and works well. So does the built in video tools on youtube. you can also do it on your iPhone or android with free apps. that's what i've always done.
