Just to help ease your minds a little, Jase is doing fine otherwise. His coloring is good and he's not hurting or on any meds. We're heading back up to the cardiologist on the 2nd. And, I know God's got this.

Okay, today I have two things to tell ya'll.
1. Jase is still doing fine and gaining weight like we are hoping. Unfortunately, his heart is not gonna heal itself. But, he's on the right track for successful surgery. The "blockage" that doc mentioned before wasn't actually. The way things are working is an artery that's coming from his heart is actually smaller than usual. If the artery was its normal size, he wouldn't get the nutrition he needs. Still, he is ok and we have another appiontment on the 27th.
2. I ran over a 15 ft. aluminum ladder on I-44 east at about 55 mph! I scared the crap outta me. It was in the center lane (of a 3 lane). The car in front of me managed to avoid it, but I had cars on either side AND behind me. There was nothing I could do. I just held my wheel steady and BAM, BAM....we're still alive. Praise the Lord!!!!! Another cool thing is we decided to take my truck this time. I guess because of the height of the truck, there was no damage anywhere. It would have wreaked havoc under the caravan. My wife promptly called *55 and reported the ladder in the middle of the highway.
Good times. Goooooood tiiiiiiimes.

Dude, you'll find all kinds of crap on I-44 both in OK and MO. It's insane sometimes. Good that it keeps you on your toes and be glad that you weren't doing the typical 70-85 through there.
You also have a PM coming your way.

Canadian, just keep throwing out applications... its a matter of getting one to stick.
Once your in, you gain experience and become more marketable. SO taking a job that maybe isnt exactly what you want, will benefit you in the long run.
Blackdak, keep strong man! Jase will turn out just fine, we (my family) have faith.
Your little dude is going to have one heck of a story to tell when he grows up. (you will too!)
