hello everyone. I have a 2000 dakota quad cab, 4x4. Originally had the 4.7 with the 45rfe transmission. im gonna put a 2000 model 5.9 out of a durango in it. i have the wiring harness and the pcm from the durango. My problem is the torque converter issue. The 4.7 has the flex plate separate from the torque converter. The 5.9 has the flexplate welded on to the converter. my spline count on my 45rfe tranny is 29. i cant find anything to adapt to it. i need some help with this one its out of my league.

Perhaps the 2nd gen end of the forum would be able to help more? And try creating a new post to garner some extra attention. Welcome to the forum.

A little update on Jase. We went to the cardiologist yesterday, and it looks like we're shooting for surgery in February. We have another appointment on Jan. 19. We'll see then, when the surgery will be scheduled.

But, otherwise he's doing great. He's jumping into laundry baskets these days.

Wow, that's young! Guess you turned out ok. We went back to the cardiologist Wednesday. Gonna have a heart cath done sometime in the next 30 days. Doc hasn't scheduled it yet. He wants to get a real good look before surgery. I feel the hard part is about to start. Right now, he's a typical little boy. Pretty happy most of the time, when not hungry. I hope this doesn't change things for him. He's amazing.
Anyway, just thought I'd let ya'll know what's going on in the saga of Jase.
