Yea shaved the emblem and used rain gutter guard for the inserts then painted it with truck bed coating

 

hey ya'll i just joined and not to hot with computers but i hope to see some bitchin trucks and get some ideas for my dakota. it's an 06 quadcab, TRX4 with a 3"body lift and 2" leveling kit, im runnin 285/75-16 on the stocker rims for now but once this deployment is over id like to make some more mods. i have some ideas but would like to hear from others too. thanx.

thanks man. im at work and deployed right now so i cant see everyone's pics. stinkin COMM! what id did see i like. hows ur exhaust sound? low ruble then loud as hell when you tromp on it? i cant wait to start doin more stuff to mine when i get back. been tryin to decide on wheels... id love new tires but the ones i have are almost brand new and i got them for free from a dude in my Sq.

 

well i finally got "home" from work and was able to view everyone's pics! GREAT LOOKIN DAKOTAS! damn now i cant wait to get back to FL and start with more mods on my dakota i named HIGH Life! chrome has to go and def need an exhaust system. any other ideas ya'll can bring to the table let me know. this site kicks A$$

 

Yeah I know how you feel about not being able to see pics, at Luke AFB I couldn't even log in to the site, I don't know about Elmendorf AFB yet. I haven't had time to get on a computer at work. My exhaust is like you said low ruble then a bat outta hell when you step on it. As for wheels I like dakkkota's wheels I think they look better on a lifted truck than the big chrome one's
