the dutch touch - you're dead on, it is brushed aluminum. I stripped it to be painted black and that brushed aluminum look is the result. Im still going to paint it black but that's still in the works

They weren't a pain at all. You have to do some splicing with your wires but that's it. Just make sure you have a volt meter so you know which wire is the turn signal and which is the running lights. All of that's explained in the instructions too.
fore warning though the running lights during the day which would be the halos and the LEDs on the new assemblies are not very bright. When I bought them they gave me the option to purchase an HID kit with it but I didn't because while its not that heavily enforced they are illegal in texas for road use but had I known how they were going to look I probably would've purchased it or went with the IPCW ones. The IPCW brand headlights ive heard are brighter but they are about $100 more expensive on carid.com.
