Ya the hood is pretty sweet, it is fully functional as well.

Here is the radiator I bought:

It works so great, I had to turn my efan controller temp up. My temp was staying at a quarter of the way, but still hangs pretty low on the highway. I do have a 180 t-stat in as well. For a bracket, I bought a piece of diamond (8x24?) plate from lowes and cut it in half (dremel and sheet-metal snips). I drilled holes for the two mounting bolts on top and bottom of the rad. Then I riveted a piece of angle to the bottom to sit on the rad support. I used 2in self tappers w/ fender washers from the bottom of the rad support into the angle and drilled holes for the original top mounting bolts. I wedged all the original grommets in to allow for shifting/vibration. I then used some 1/2in self tappers to mount the ac condenser to the diamond plate. Looks pretty good overall, and when I put the top shroud on it looked stock. I also needed to pickup a flexible 1 1/2 rad hos because I couldn't get the original to bend, and needed a longer tube to the overflow.

Sorry to jack the photo thread, but wanted to get the info out there.

It has a black eye, but I have the other one to put in after I get it reinspected along with HIDs and LEDs. I upgraded to a primed bumped cover with fog holes, and I am going to shave the grill emblem. The hood is gray gel coated, but I am going to color match the bumper, grill, and hood.

Here is my google photo album:

I also upgraded to an all aluminum two row radiator, nice and shiny
I like your truck man..clean but cool. Going to be awsome once that stuff gets painted and the other NR headlight gets on! Could you post another pic of where you bolted your efan controller up? Derale? and it is right on the bottom of the fuse box? I noticed Preston did the same thing..

Thanks! I bought the derale from summit for 40 bux. I had the controller mounted on the top right next to the radiator but the relay got smashed by the battery in my accident. Since I have an optima in there I have a little room in the battery tray, and I may install it there.

Decided to get some better pics of the rollpan with some before/after going on too.

So, I am definitely going to need to do something about the cooling, I was quite a bit above the middle line today, after I turned the turn-on to a lower temp. It was running 100% of the time. That was with A/C. I'm going to remove the louvers, see if that helps at all, and keep the A/C off for now, no biggy. Don't let that scare you Steve, I'm just unlucky.

I am seriously considering that radiator you posted there novo. I like the idea of overcooling lol. It will be great for those days at the races where things start to get heatsoaked. That way I might be able to keep the HHR fan.

Here's those pics.

That looks SOO much better with your set up. Seriously major improvement, awesome job.

I wish I could do a roll pan with mine as well. I just really like having the hitch and without major mods im sure it would look silly sticking way out there.

Keep up the good work tho!

I'm not worried man. Did you do the 180 t-stat though? I already snagged one from NAPA for $9..truck looks sick now, did you start waxing it as well?

Thanks man, painting the pan was the funnest part. I'm really liking it too, and it's soon time to move the creativity to the front of the truck..

This Sir Michael's pan has two accessories, a folding plate mount and a hidden hitch that goes behind the rollpan. I'm thinking about getting them, but I'm a bit stretched with this truck as it is so i will just have to hope they are available a few months from now.

Nope, no 180. I did get one, but it's for the Hemi. The napa one is the Stant one you have to notch right? I really want to run cooler but I'm just gonna wait for the swap, go without A/C, no big deal since I have to drain the system anyways before I start tearin it up.

I waxed the tailgate a few times since the debadging and rollpan, but I haven't waxed the whole truck yet. But the "touch" carwash sure did brighten it up a lot better than hand washing and touchless were able to, so doing a full wax will be really nice.
