i think the thrush would be just like the flowmaster I have cause it's a dual chamber also. I was looking at the thrush hush, but they dont make a single in/dual out, only the glasspack, shich I have had before and did not like cause it drones inside too

Default Magnaflow..........

I recently removed a Flowmaster 40 and replaced it with a Magnaflow to reduce interior noise. The external sound is very similar. Made alot of difference in the cab. Really couldn't even talk in the truck with the Flowmaster on..........

Yeah the interior noise on the magnaflow is just right for me, and I love the sound outside. It sounds soooo good when you are behind it and it is started up. I am glad I got talked out of the flowmaster when i was searching for mufflers.

I think you are one of the people that talked me out of the flowmaster keaton! lol.... After I had my magnaflow installed i went by my parents house and my dad, who always thinks its a waste of money to customize vehicles like i do to all my vehicles, saw the stock muffler in the truck bed he was like oh what did you do now? I told him i had the new system put on and wanted him to hear it. He stood behind it when I cranked it up and in the rear view mirror I could see a big smile on his face when he heard it and he even told me he liked it and it sounded good!

A shop I went to while I was getting quotes for an exhaust kept suggesting flowmaster. I refused to put one on my truck. All the hicks around here have them on their pickups and its like flowmaster is more about how much noise you can make vs magnaflow/gibson/mbrp/borla which is more about the rumble and exhaust note.

the 12198, since it has the same inlet and outlet sizes as the one I have on now. I will also be trying out my new welder....this should be interesting.....i just hope it cuts down on the interior noise, if not i'm going to be uber pissed.....haha

That is the same one I have. It is louder inside then stock muffler but not way to loud. I think it is just about right. Cant wait till you get it and put it on and tell us your opinion on it. Oh and your braver then I am trying to weld it on yourself!
