In preparation for getting my bed stripes, I removed the 4x4 decals and pinstripes....

I hear that! You probably could do it though. However when i watched the guy install my system i was sooooo glad I did not try it myself lol. Are you going to try to put the bed stripe on yourself?

no, i found a place that will do it, I dont want to even try....they do car wraps, just like you suggested, so they have experience. Did you tell them exactly where to put the stripe or did they measure it and go right in the middle between the tire and bumper?

I showed them where I wanted it. Then they did the rest. After watching them I know that if i would of tried to put it on then the stripe would be in a crumpled up ball on my driveway instead of on my truck lol.

The best thing I did to my truck is remove the pinstripes when I got it home from the dealer I bought it from used. It adds something to the truck, but it takes away from the body lines. It looks much cleaner without pinstripes, IMO.

I still want to do a set of flat-black bed stripes on mine. The $30 ebay stuff is still pretty pricey though if I end up messing one up putting it on.
