Same with me rengnath. Me and the girlfriend had another baby this year on Jan 15th and i was so sick of having to take two cars everywhere so I had to have a 4 door vehicle. I was going to get an suv then my ranger died! so the choice was clear to get a 4 door truck. Didnt want or need a full size because me and my gf are not used to driving huge vehicles, they wouldnt fit in my garage etc. So that left me with Tacoma, Frontier or Dakota. I looked at them all and picked the Dakota and am glad I did.

The Dakota was the best deal for me. Tacoma was out because anything in my price range was pre-2000 with 110k miles or more. I couldnt find a Colorodo for sale near what I could afford, and I simply wasnt wild about Ford. I loved the new style Dakota, found one with 86k for under $12k over a year ago. I couldnt be happier.

Keaton I know I know. I am getting so far behind at work because of my back that I will be playing catch up for the next week and a half at least. Where have you been the past coupla days? Did you get the stripe on? What about the magnaflow?

Regnanth I feel ya! I got caught up in that circle too! I couldnt justify spending more then what i paid for my dakota which had less miles and more options and cosmetically nicer in and out then on any frontier or tacoma that had a gazillion miles, beat up and stripped of options for what I was looking to spend on a truck.

EDIT: Oh I almost went for the Mitsu Raider. I have a thing for Mitsu's it was blue pearl color look at my album in my profile to see how that would of fit with 2 of my other cars lol. I am sooooooooooo glad I held out for the right dakota though!
