Default newbie here

Hey guys, i am new to the site here and Dodge's in general. I am a Ford guy but unfortunately Ford didn't make a truck that i was looking for at the moment which is a smaller truck that can still haul babies in the back. They don't make a true 4 door Ranger, and i couldn't bring myself to buy an import so here i am.

I bought an 07 Dakota 4 door, 4x4 3.7 V6 with the 6 speed manual. I have to say i really like this truck. It has a lot more power for a v6 than i was expecting, and the 6 speed is really nice. So far on my first real world tank i got 18.4 MPG so i cant complain with that. Here are some pics. I am getting a spray in bed liner this week because the guy that owned it before me had a toolbox in the bed and the rails have some surface rust from where the toolbox sat on the bed.

Pics are from cell phone so they aren't great sorry..

That is a pretty blue! I like it, welcome to the forum Oh and I had a ford ranger before too and there is no comparison between the Ranger and the Dakota. The Dakota wins it hands down.

Nice truck. I really like the blue too, but I have to say that bright orange and white T on the front really brings it altogether.

Slick looking truck! I love the color. I wish my truck had a manual trans .... I sure do miss that from my old Chevy pickup.

The quad cab was the seller for me, Brian. I never thought I would like it that much until I drove one. Much better than a regular cab pickup. Still small enough for me since I dont need a full size, but I can still seat a total of 6 people (not that it would be comfortable, lol)
