Default $300 Dollar Paperweight... thankfully not!

So I just about had a heart attack... I usually update or check for updates on my tuner every so often and tonight I decided to do the norm an update it or check to see if there are updates. Anyways plug it in, alls going well and then BAM! Updater program locks up and instantly shuts down! So I start it back up and now my tuner is locked on a "Bootloader" screen and is unrecognized by the updater program. I unhook everything restart the computer and still the same thing. Well then I kinda get a little worried run out to the truck and see if it works on the truck... still the same thing and it does nothing. Well I begin to prepare myself for a tech call to Superchips in the morning when I notice a few of the similiar error codes and problems on their forum. I do as good ol'RON says to those members and uninstall the Updater and re-install it. Low and behold, it updates the tuner, and fixes all the problems! F YEAH!

Yeah dont let this scare ya Keaton... it was just a simple problem with the updater and computer, not the tuners fault. I have had it over a yr without a problem. I think the problems are far and few between. You mainly hear more about problems then not, because 1 person is more likely to talk about a problem then when something actually works correctly.

You wont be disappointed with one, Ill assure you that.

I love mine. I was worried at first when I got mine after reading a couple reviews where people ended up with no-start conditions after programming. That worried me as I need my truck every day, but not one problem and I have programmed and tweaked several times.

I wish my Fastman was a simple as a Superchips programmer
