Default Flowmaster problems

so my sister has an 05 dakota and she recently asked me to help her decide what type of exhaust to get....im flowmaster all the way. we put 40 series origional flow on her 3.7 liter dakota...sounds like crap. cut the rear resonator out..still sounds like crap. if i cut the front res out with she get the sound i promised her? flowmasters sound awesome on my chevy and thats what she should have bought ....a chevy.....but it is what it is

She should have bought a V8, certainly not a chevy.

In all honesty, it is really hard to put any system on a v6 and not make it sound ricey.

You may want to try a glasspack. I had one on my old 4.3l chevy and it didnt sound too bad, but it was still nothing like a v8.

You do realize you are in the 3rd gen section, where all the trucks are the same body style, right? If you would like help, maybe you should have some common courtesy.

If you are having all those problems, the exhaust would be my last concern.
