05 Factory Radio Replacement
Anyone know if a factory single CD radio out of an 06 non-Infinity equipped truck is a direct plug and play in an 05 with the Infinity system, 6-disk changer and satellite radio? I also have the u-connect thing, but the buttons for that are on the mirror, not on the radio. I don't care about not being able to load 6 CD's, but I want an aux input for my Zune and the 06 radio has an aux input. Thanks.

They are plug and play. When I bought my truck, the cd player wouldnt eject so I fought with the dealer for months to fix the problem as the stereo was noted as in working condition when I bought the truck. They ended up replacing the radio with a brand new one from chrysler. This one has chrome trim on the ***** and an aux in. Total from the dealer was over $400 installed for one, but used I think they arent too bad. Im just happy I got a factory radio that works, and I didnt have to pay for it.

Oops, sorry I didnt specify Jkeaton. I have the non infinity system, with no u-connect or satellite. I thought it said you were looking for a radio without those addons, but I reread it and understand now. Sorry.

Here are some pics for you of the stock radio with aux input from my 06.
