hey im new to this site. my name is matt i have a 2006 dakota SLT V8 mag. i also have a question. does anyone know if there are pillar gauge clusters made for the 2006 dakota or am i out of luck.

First welcome to the DF. Second , you are s.o.l.. No one makes the pillar gauge pod for our trucks. Another member here bought one for a ram and modified it to fit the dak and worked. So that's the only way i know.. Good luck.

By the way you need to post pics of your truck

welcome to DF

you can order a 2 gauge coloum pod for an 06 ram and it is a direct fit, i had an extra pillar pod for my 98 ram that i trimmed myself, with just a bench grinder and it fits perfectly

Thanks for all the info. Did you just have to cut down the ends or did you have to do anything with the attachment points as well. The stock pillar cover is screwed on correct?

the stock pillar is held on by two screws, i completely removed it, (no mods to it) and used one longer screw to attach the new pillar, which is not visable from any normal view but is in the last pic, and i only trimmed the ends
