Ok my battery has been dead for over 2 years now, on both of my keys. I tried putting new batteries in them and nothing happened.

Question #1 Do you have to reprogram after the battery dies?
Question #2 Can I program them even with both of the keys dead with new batteries?
Questions #3 If question #2 answer is no, do you know how much the dealer will charge to reprogram them?

Question 2: No
Question 3: You probably should take the vasaline with you, as you may get raped. Im guessing around $50 or so to get it reprogrammed.

 

Dealership said they will reprogram them for free!!! NO VASELINE FOR ME!

 

What dealership!?! I may have to take trips to Chicago when I need service on my truck!

 

Liberty Auto plaza.... I have always had issues with this dealership. But if they will do it for free that is fine with me!

I love Antioch Dodge. Smart mechanics! Great service every time I took my truck there. I have bought all 4 of my Dakota's there. I will drive 45 mins out of my way just to go to this dealership. They deserve there 5 stars.

Liberty Auto Plaza does not deserve the 5 star rating.

 

I went to Ewald in Franklin, WI to get my Dakota. Lets just say I wasnt exactly satisfied, but the deal was way to good to walk away just because I didnt like the service.

There was a white Dakota from Anitoch Dodge when I was looking, but I never made the trip to IL to check it out.
