I gotta agree with sixshooter...you just can't "Americanize" Top Gear and make it work...it's more about the 3 Brits hosting the show than it is about the cars...plus the fact that we have nothing remotely close to half the vehicles they're sending around their track across the pond

 

Top Gear is pretty much the best show on TV... period.

However I'm not too confident about the American version, the hosts really make the show and I just can't see it working without Clarkson, Hammond, and May.

For those of you who have Netflix there are at least 4 seasons of Top Gear UK available for instant streaming.

 

I will give the American version a chance!

Well it premieres on the History channel on the 21st

 

Ill be tuning in Sunday night to check this show out. From the commercials, it looks pretty sweet.

 

Top Gear is the best show on tv, the us version is gonna blow, granted ill give it couple episodes, but i despise tanner foust, and it shows how little confidence bbc/discovery has on the show to put it on history channel and have be on sundays thats a horrible time slot

 

I hope is does not suck, I think they are showing the best parts of the show in the commercials to get people to tune in. I hope they have more than what is shown.

 

I hope they test some sweet trucks
