CLARIFICATION: The other day I did not see his new "Exporer" as he was already there sitting in a golf cart waiting on me to get there. I played today (not with him) but I was in the parking lot when he pulled in. What he keeps calling an Explorer is really a friggin' ESCAPE!!!
He traded in his brand spanking new Dakota, got all upside down on the financing in so doing it - for a damn little SUV on a compact car frame! He didn't even get the 3.0 V6, but instead the 2.5L I4! I have lost what little respect I had for the guy...

Giving him $13,400 is bad enough, but then to mark it up over $11K is a real kick in the a$$! Not that they'll get that, but still. LOL. Really gives a good idea of just how much you can negotiate with those thieves.

Ah, idk. He got raped pretty bad. Ill put it this way; my truck retails at $13k .... so what a dealer would try to get out of it for kbb. It's an 05 with 116k miles on it. I kind of feel bad for the guy, but he should've got up and walked out when they offered him that little on the truck. I wouldnt doubt it if he paid sticker price on the Escape too.
