Rear speakers
Went to replace the speakers in my 2011 Club Cab and for the life of me I can't figure out how to remove the panel over the rear speakers. Fronts were easy but the rear panel I pushed, I pulled and can't get them off. It looks easy enough but what am I not doing right?
If it's the same as the earlier 3rd gens it's a bit of a pain.
You need to remove the plastic kick plates where the doors open (this can be done carefully without removing the piece at the base of the driver's seat belt).

Then unbolt the top of the rear seat belts.

After this you will be able to pull the top of the rear side panel off.

Then you need to remove the back panel (lower part of the jumper seat back can swing out and I think there's some screws behind there).
(No pic, sorry)
Now remove the rest of the rear side panel and you have access to the speakers.

Thank you. I did finally get the panels off, just like you described. It's never easy if I decide to do it myself, but when you're cheap like me and refuse to pay if you can do it yourself, you just gots to do what you gots to do. New Alpine speakers sound great, worth the effort.
