Almost forgot , you should plasti-dip your wheels until you get aftermarket wheels or leave those on.

I bet i'll look killer plasti-dipped!!!!

Plastic dip is a rubberized spray or paint on. It is the same stuff you see on the ends of tool handles and gloves dipped in.

Spray cans run you about 5-7 dollars. Comes in red, black, clear, yellow, blue, probably some others.

Some one did a write up on doing the rims.

i polish my rims with chrome & metal polish, would that effect it??
id love to do my rims my self!!

do you think that would effect them??
-and could i tape of my tires and spray it on with my tires on?? i dont have the tools to take off my tires/rims...
i could take off one tire at atime, but wouldnt be able to remove the Tire......

Im EXCITED!!!
man that would look sick!!! id spend $50 on that stuff to do my rims...

I would probably run some degreaser or some type of rubbing alcohol to clean them really well before I sprayed them.

In the DIY the member actually took good old poker playing cards and squeezed them in between the tire and the rim to protect the tire. Pretty clever idea!

I am actually gonna be doing my rocker panels on my 94 Toyota with either the plastic dip, or the 3m version. It will be my test before I do it to my Dakota lol. I will see how it holds up and then make my decision.
