Talking 200 Pc Craftsamn Set

Just figured I would share, not a bad deal and tools are always a necessity while working on the truck... 99 bucks for all this http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...00100383&aff=Y

Only downfall of the kit is a majority of the sockets are 3/8, 1/4 drives

Decent deal, but Craftsman tools today aren't the Craftsman tools of 20 years ago. Most are made in China now...

With how things are shaping up in this world, its only a warranty till they go out of business.

Yep, who ever thought that K-Mart would buy out Sears when K-Mart themselves were in bankruptcy?

I've been screwed over a few times on warranty and a company going under. Had just bought a new bass boat in 1999, a Javelin 19' model with an Evinrude Ficht fuel injected 175 HP on it to replace my Javelin 18' with a carb'd 140 HP Johnson.
Since I used my boats heavily at the time, tourney fishing a good 2 weekends a month, I opted for a five year warranty on the motor (which was NOT cheap!!!) and about 9 months down the road OMC Corp (owner of Javelin, Stratos, Johnson, Evinrude, etc.) went belly up and various companies bought the individual pieces of the Corp. Bombardier ended up with Johnson & Evinrude and promptly made it clear they were NOT honoring ANY OMC warranties!!!

A warranty is only as good as the company that offers it...

I have good tools in my tool box in the garage, mostly older (80s era) Craftsman, Snap-On, Mac and believe it or else, some of my best tools are Penncraft (JC Penney attempt at cutting into Sears Craftsman in the late 60's- late '70s that I inherited from my old man). The toolbox on my truck is littered with Harbor Freight, Wal-Mart and newer Craftsman tools. These are the ones I use for quick fixes, out in the fields or lend out so if they rust, break or don't come back, who gives a sh*t???
