I hear ya on the next project and feeling some age. Packaging an auto trans is also much easier on the chassis of your choice also. my next swap is a isb170 or a MB OM648. Depends on what I can find for cheap and Im contemplation strapping an auto to it just for the sake of simplicity and packaging in the chassis Im looking at.

Finally getting ready to sell the Dakota. Have it all stripped down tidying up things that never got finished or just didn't look tidy.
Have the new ISB170 and Allison on the floor ready to rebuild for the next project.
This build will have more power now that there are a few upgrades for these available. Bigger turbo, cam, ECU tune and injectors. Just need to come up with a truck to stuff it into.

No, just cleaning up some loose ends. Over the last 7 years I made changes on the fly and now it's time to clean those up before selling it to the next person.
Softer motor mounts to cut vibration and cleaning up the rats nest of wiring. Drivetrain has been solid so it's not changing.

Got the engine all painted up and back in the truck. Still a few loose ends to clean up.
