im not sure if this goes here, but what the hell. what kind impact wrenches you guys use. im lookin at the dewalt 1/2 inch

I use a snap on brand but I work as a mechanic for my dad, so that another reason why I use snap on.

Also technically it is his impact wrench but I normally use it.

I got one from harbor freight tools. Works fine for some things, others I still need a bfh or a lot of leverage....

i had bought a kobalt like $30 one but it couldnt even put my exhaust on. so thats getting returned. some guy has a dewalt one on craiglist. i used my dads compressor but its just a little pancake one.

Milwaukee makes a great impact I have the 3/8s and works awesome lug nuts and such need to be cracked first but after that it works good. Other then that I use my air impact

I've got two of them both 1/2". A Husky that actually was part of an eight tool set that came free with my air compressor and a Snap-On that I talked my pop out of like 15 years ago. The Husky is a max 350 ft/lbs of torque where the Snap-On is like double that but to be honest, for a freeby, I haven't run into many things yet the Husky wouldn't do that the Snap-On would...

this is exactly what i wanted to hear. i have the 18 volt drill, love that thing. you think $140 drive impact is a steal? its a month used, with case two xrp batteries and case

Sound like a good deal. Definantly try it first if they will let you. Maybe you could go try loosening 1 of your lug nuts.
