Default Break-in oil in new motor?

So I started peeking around the crate motor, and it has oil in it already. I am curious if it's a special type of break-in oil or what, as it has a funky smell.

I just thought I would ask to see if anyone knew anything about it.

Also, if you could choose any oil to run from 0 miles, which would you choose? I'll be running a 0-30 but I don't know what brand to choose..

aaaannnddd.. about the 4.7. How do you guys get the injector plugs off without breaking them? I did a test fit for the plugs to make sure they plug into the hemi injectors and coils (they do, btw, perfect fit) and broke one. It still plugs in snuggly, but the latch and clip are busted.

Joe Gibbs break-in oil is what I use in the race car every engine build.

I heard something about putting some oil in each cylinder through the sparkplug hole so it's lubed before circulation, is that a common thing to do on first start-up?

I would run whatever Dodge recommends in the manual for the hemi. I've been told before there is "no such thing" as break in oil.

I would only worry about break in oil for flat tappet camshafts. Otherwise short oil change with dino oil is the way to go.

We've always used the motto "Break it in fast and it will be fast. Break it in slow and it will be slow." Newer engines are so built so exact and account for thermal expansion and all other factors they break in quickly.
