Default Plasti Dip

So I wanted to share my little mod that I did today.

Before...(It's the only picture that I had of the rim before the mod)

After...

It came out really well. It only took 2 spray cans (with some left over), and each rim has 3 coats. Plasti Dip is the best thing that has ever been put into a spray can.

nice job, it did turn out clean, looks good.
im guessing the black wheels are the cool thing now, as i see a lot of rides with that look

a lot of them arent so clean though, lol.

ive seen 2 recently , an F150 and some rice burner, with plasti-dipped wheels (complete with runs) and bright day-glow purple / violet? colored center caps....is that another trend with the younger crowd?

at 40 (old compared to many here i suspect )im still partial to chrome & argent silver, goes back to my 68 camaro days i guess....

40? I think I remember 40....I love the chrome accents on my truck. Not too much, not to little. But, the color of my truck does not blend well with blacked out accents, since it is already dark. I tried to black out stuff when I first got it and, well, look....ugh...If I had red, gray, white....yes, but not on dark blue.

Blacked out:

Not

as a person that likes the blacked out look, i completely agree with you your truck looks much better with the chrome on it. I like the new grill on it

I think I remember 40 too - remember, if you remember the '60s, you were not really there! (not that I was 40 in the '60s, but I lived through the '60s, but was too young not to remember them!)

I've never been partial to chrome, except on motorcycle exhaust. 1969 Yamaha AS2C - still looking for one for my memory box!

I removed my chrome grille shell so that my flames showed better. I like chrome as an accent......unless it's like a 50's Caddy. As for 40, that's Friday of next week for me.
