Default Whos into Paintball

I played competitively for a year, Playing woodsball We came 2nd overall, which is amazing for a Rockie team, Since there where also a few National/Big Teams.
Well I just seen this video, Which also Jeep guys will like since there is a bunch in it. It would be a amazing game if only u did run over people haha

There is a field local to me, that is build around a old CAF base, So I has actual roads. I talked to them when they opened a few years ago, and they gave me the go ahead to build a vehicle I could drive on the field. But I never got past the ideas lol Ive figured A simple box to slide in the bed and BAM done, lol

Does the paint wash off? If so, I would enjoy doing this although I have never been paint-balling! Someone would totally get hit by a car though if this happened..I see they were playing a nice little game of capture the flag, eh?

the paint does wash out/off, and doesnt stain. Most fields are Field paint only, at-least around me, Unless its Cheap (wal-mart brand and such then it stains stuff)

pretty neat, I used to play, but everyone I know grew out of it. Kinda reminds me of road warrior!

be careful if paint balling in really cold weather.

my brother was into this with some of his police dept. co workers a few years ago.

once, in march they played when it was about 10 degrees outside .
he got popped in the upper arm by a frozen paint ball that was so cold it didnt bust.

even with him wearing heavy clothes under his army style coat the impact of that "paint cicle" left a big bruise & a knot.

he's a good sized fella too,but said it felt like he'd been shot with a golf ball & it looked like he had been, ouch.

Then they were doing it wrong. Ive played in WAY past freezing temps, 2 ft of Snow and no Issues.
The big thing about playing in Winter/Cold is using Paintballs designed for it. The Fill (Paint) is designed not to freeze, and the Shell is a little thicker to, We use it all winter long here.

I have a scar on my right arm a half-circle from where I was shot basically point blank as I ran past someone scarrin him s#$&less (other team) Then I was shot point blank around the same spot playing in the League.

I was a captain of a semi-pro team for a couple years, played in quite a few national level tourneys, including PSP World Cup and the NPPL. Started off playing with friends from high school, worked our way up through D3, D2, D1, then to semi-pro, the team fell apart before we could make it to the professional level. Even with all the sponsors we gained along the way, it was just to expensive. Would spend thousands a month practicing, and the pay-outs from tourneys didn't cover the cost. Was a great experience, and had a blast doing it. Just to costly...
