customizing with spray on bed liner
so i came across this spray on bed liner as a fluke trying to repaint the lawn mower with something a little more heavy duty.
Rust-oleum spray on bed liner in the rattle can is some pretty awesome stuff. i know rattle cans get a bad wrap cuz of the tendancy to chip if you dont do it correctly.
to combat this i used fine sand paper on everything before i painted, washed everything with mild soap and hot water, used adhesion promoter (make sure its the type meant for plastic, the metal one will melt plastic) when that was just barely still tacky i put the first coat of bed liner. i tend to go heavy on final product. my usual is about 8-15 coats depending how much torture it will get, the grill in the pics got 22 coats (6 rattle cans) for all the tineriot trims i did only 4 coats on the trims and 6 on the a posts since they got the handles, and 6 on the gripholds and sliders for the front belts.

Spray on bed-liner has been used by a few people for stuff.
I used it on my Custom Lower-Rad Support, Old Backrack, and Rear Bumper Steel and Plastic.
I heard it likes a rough surface (SOS or Scratch Pad)
I primed my parts with Self-Etch Primer, then the bedliner when it was still tacky.

I did some of that as well...
