its been a while fellas
well i wanna let you all know im still here, been going threw some rough times but those rough times are OVER. long story short im getting into a new house and will be back to work shortly, in the mean time here is a little ear candy and tommorow some eye candy.....
i have learned alot about my dakota in the last couple of months, i learned that it will overheat in vegas at 113 degrees outside. I also learned that the 180 thermostat wasnt giving me ANY advantage over the stock thermostat. another thing i learned is that the earlier model dakotas from 02-04 i believe have the same front end suspension, and the rear is the same i believe to, just different lugs, i plan on doing a disc brake upgrade soon. I have been doing alot of researching on tuning and computer controls and so fowardth but here is what i have done lately to the vehicle.
BeCool Aluminum dual core Chevy style radiator
Stant 195 Thermostat (stock)
F and B Billet 72mm Throttlebody
Sherradon Stage III Valvebody
Mopar Solenoid Pack (updated version)
Superchips Transmission Tuning w/ custom modified shift points (i spent 3 tanks of fuel getting these down, WOAH is it a difference)
SCT Programmer with Customer hemifever tune
I also reworked my whole exhaust, I put catalyc converters back in and ran the pipes around the transmission, with 2 cutouts before my xpipe. She sounds so good and with all the items ive added lately it has been running liek a dream, especially for 192xxx miles on it. I have some more stuff in mind but right now i need to get moved and start back up at work since i got my job back
oh yeah and its
for me on the 30th.
but tommorow i will post pictures of everything, and i plan to get a dyno done on the car, and take it to the track to log some data. next on the list:
cams
forged rotating assembly and bored block with ross pistons
456 gears
rear disc brakes
rear shocks with resiviors
good night all
good to be back
