I am looking at the bushwackers. I really like the bolted look. I like the look of any fender flares more than having nothing, but the ones where you can see the bolt holes appeals the most to me. And it sounds like I will be making my own CAI. I am not showing the truck or dragging it, I just want to suck a little more in and push a little more out. I am thinking the dual straight pipes is the route I will be taking. Too bad those seem to be the most pricey. And I will have to wait to get a superchip until after I am finished with my snapshot device.

As for dropping the truck, I haven't crawled under to take a good look at what's going on with the shock and leafs and how they work together, but from what it sounds like I can lower the rear without buying anything at all? Just relocating the leafs? Since I can't see myself doing any of this for some time (dirtbike and streetbike require too much money... and of course snow tires) Are there any front and rear complete coil kits to lower the truck by just replacing the stock shocks?

Thanks for the help guys. I'll have to take some more pics tomorrow as a thankyou.

If your driving in snow, id advise against lower, unless your just lowering the rear to level it. I raised the front on my 2wd. I dont need to be a snow plow in winter lol

When I lowered mine, I searched for parts for close to a year. There were no complete kits. The rear is as simple asmremoving the leaf to under the axle, but it will require spring perches to be welded onto the underside of the axle. Got my perches from Summit pretty cheap.

As for snow, five months after moving to upstate SC, we had about 5 inches of snow which is major around here and you could see everywhere I traveled. Should have billed the city for my plow work. LOL!!!

Hey Ant, you can just get some longer spring shackles, they are barely worth 2". You can remove the load leaf for another 1/2". Instead of the load leaf, you can remove the second to bottom spring, but that will affect your carrying capabilities so you'd want air bags.

Or, you can do the spring perch relocation but that will give you no less than 3.5" of drop so you will want to lower the front too.
