I hated my SRAs & I even had the 18". Might as well have been driving on racing slicks in the rain. I wouldn't get another set even if they were free.

Do you wear big steel-toed boots when you drive? This difference might be explained by the relative weight of your right feet!

Steel toe combat boots just about everyday but even when I didn't wear boots the dak would lose traction in the rain. I just think the tires are better suited for small suvs and not trucks

My wife had a set of Goodyear SRAs on her 2006 Durango that we wore down and replaced. Not a big fan of Goodyear, but those tires worked well.

Bolt you paid money to put those things on again!?


Honestly now that I've started switching between summer tires most of the year and winter tires for the winter I'm never going back. It makes such a huge difference in how well the truck takes off and handles for the warm months. My experience with the SRAs in the rain was similar to running bald tires in ice and snow, no idea how you can stand them.
