Front Seat and Door Seals
Hey fellers,
Couple of questions
1) Looking to remove my front seats to clean up but according to Haynes, the passenger seat is "special" meaning that after re-install, the truck has to go to the stealer and have a recode before being sat in, is this true for the 2008?
2) Looking to replace the door weatherstripping, the press on type, any ideas on part numbers or cost? Seems pretty easy but finding at LMC or JC Whitney is not very easy.

When I removed my seats, the airbag lights were lighting up. The weight sensors for the passenger seat airbag system had to be 'Reinitialized' as stated in the sticker under the seat. Had to go to the dealer for it to be fixed. Some guys didn't have the same issue, but I wasn't so lucky. This happened even after I pulled all 3 airbag fuses and disconnected the battery for a few hours before removing the seat.
