im just wondering what kind of tires you guys are running on your trucks,i have nitto terra grapplers on my truck now and they are not getting the job done.

 

Tires have been beat to death here. Use the search function. Tires are like mufflers, everyone has their favorite. All depends on what you use your truck for as to which tire is best for you. Here is a good place to start:

I also have Nitto Terra Grapplers for my truck, but I can't use them in the Winter - I would try these tires on a heavier truck, but wouldn't recommend them for the Dakota. They're a very hard tire and with a light back end on the truck, I get no traction on anything slick, a softer tire would have worked much better. I got Yokohama Geolander tires and about 300 lb of sand in the back for the winter & this appears to do the trick.
