Default Can't log in from laptop

Ok, so for like the past couple months since I got my first smart phone I've been posting here using my phone. Since then I've seen some cool updates to the site. Well, for some reason now, everytime I try to log in from a an a tubal computer, I keep getting kicked back and can only view as a guest. Plus, like a thousand ads keep getting in the way that say " if you log in as a registered user the ads will go away" but yeah it won't let me log in. , from a computer. Any of you had similar issues?

More detail is needed. Is this problem just from 1 computer or all computers? Did you change any of your log-in data, like your password? Did you re-set any of the computer settings for remembering things like site related cookies, site related user names & passwords, etc.? Did you do something on this site to cause your address to be blocked? If your computer is using a wireless router/access point, is it an encoded link or are you using it without any security?

Try checking the box that says 'Remember Me', right up where you enter your name and password.

Sorry I'm an idiot with puters. I didn't change any of my settings (I don't even know how I would of I wanted to). I'll try from another computer, but the whole time I was overseas I used my laptop to log into the forum with out any issues. I am using a wireless router though. I tried to use the remember me thing, but when I click on the drop box to log in, the prompt automatically goes to sign in name, after I enter it and tab to enter password, if I try to scroll with my mouse to check the remember me thing , the whole drop box disappears. Weird....and aggravating.

The box that I'm referring to is on the DF page, up where you sign in next to your username. It's not a drop down menu. That will usually keep you logged in.

Operating systems are rarely bug free and settings can change without your intervention from things like OS updates, other program interference, malware (virus infestations), etc. You should check all your internet settings regularly, especially those relating to your computer security. Changes in your settings with any particular site can also affect sign-in.

Years ago, I used to belong to a computer hardware & software help site by the name of suggestafix.com. At that time, they were really good and very helpful. If they're still around, I'd give them a shot (it was all free then, and probably still the same), there would be a wide range of expertise available to help debug system, hardware, and software issues. If they aren't around anymore, there will be others that have replaced them.

Mine was doing tnat for awhile, then it magically just started working normally again. I never found out what caused it, but it would never let me log in.
