Hey there. I've had for truck for 3 years and 1 month now. It is a 2008 Dakota Crew Cab. Just hit 23,000 miles the other day.

I'm not much of a handy man or even a mechanically inclined man. I can do minor things with small engines, but thats as far as my experience goes.

I've been looking around on this site for ideas, but nothing pops for me. I would like some things to change up in my truck. I'm not ready to change the radio, lift or tires/rims. However, I'm open to anything else. I currently have steps on both sides, which extend the whole cab length for front and rear doors. Also, I have a leather cover for my bed, which I love.

Now what are some cosmetic things I can change without too much trouble? Like I said, I'm not very mechanically inclined, but interested in learning. Thanks.

IT all depends what you like.

You could
-Add a Bull Bar or Grille Guard to the Front,
-Add a Hitch (If it doesnt have one, They are better then just a Ball)
-Color Match Grill, OR Black it out
-Change Headlights (Black instead of Chrome, or Aftermarket Set)
-Add Taillight covers
-Change Taillights (LED or Aftermarket)
-Change 3rd Brake Light (LED or Aftermarket)
-Change Incandescent Bulbs to LED Ones (Interior, Reverse)
-Change Headlights/Fogs to HID
-Install OEM FOG lights (If you dont have them, It is Easy)

Ive done alot of what I posted above, and I never worked on a Car untill I bought my truck. Ive only owned it a little over 2 years.
