Use plasti-dip on the grill. Mine is going on two or three years now and looks as good as day one. My 16's in my display pic are painted with wheel paint from Autozone (I think Rustoleum). They look good minus some cracks in the paint but I didn't know what I was doing way back when I did them. For now I have my 20's polished..they look good so I let them be.

Do you have any pictures of your grill on the truck with that matte black plasti-dip? that would be a perfect reperance for me as to how it looks as my truck is silver as well. still toggeling between matte black and factory silver.
Keaton, did you have any problems with the paint coming off when the tires were changed out? That's the only thing I am concerned with at this point. I am going to be doing this within the next two weeks.
Yes, the stuff will scratch easily. I always kept a can of it around so I could paint over the scratches.
how does powder coating stand up to this kind of ware? at least compared to out of a can. I know powder coating will be significantly more expensive and I believe I'd have to take my tires off my wheel (which I am not capable of doing on my own as I do not have the proper equipment).
