Default face lift

hey guys sorry for this but i can't find the thread about putting new 08+ front end stuff on an older 05-07 3rd gen. I remember it for the most part but want to confirm. I need to replace grill and fender from car accident, so i thought i may as well try to update the face, and all i need is an 08+ :

1)hood
2)fenders
3)grill

thats it right? i dont need a bumper bc im going steel bumper custom

Only other obvious thing is of course headlights. But you may also need to realign the hood lock/release. They may be in different locations on the different models.

I dont think anyone has, someone before asked.

Youd need.

Fenders
Inner Fenders (Maybe)
Hood (Hinges and Release)
Grille (And Bracket)
Headlights

Then most importantly you may or may not require new:
Front supports for the fenders (which are spot welded to the truck cab)
New Radiator Supports (Upper and Lower)

Those 3 parts are the only iffy things on doing the Swap. You could get a fender and see if it will bolt up to your current supports if its does your golden.

ya im just waiting to make a custom bumper, got a friend at the dodge dealer also who can get me things cheap. I may just get the lights and fab up my own fenders while i do the bumper. not entirely sure how im going to approach this, i just like the front end look of the newer daks b/c they look more rugged and not as roundish/goofy

- i looked at 08+ lights and they have same bulb count as 05-07, turn signal and headlight just maybe different types which i need to look into.

I hope this works out well for you, with no major issues to deal with.
