Default Roof Racks

Looking to buy a roof rack. Wondering what yall have or any recommendations.

I keep a full sized jack along with your typical roadside emergency gear in toolboxes in my bed. There have been quite a few times where I needed access to the entire bed and had to put everything in the back seat. It'd be easier for me to throw everything on the roof, especially if I have more than 1 other passenger.

Thanks in advance!

Someone on here has a set, aftermarket I believe. I want a set for my 05 for the same reason. .My atv would fit nicely if I had my entire bed space (club cab) but since I dont it sits on the tailgate.

At the risk of upsetting anyone for using the search function again, this thread has some good info, Biker Ahoy had one on his truck.

We were talking about roof racks at work recently. 2 of the older guys said they had the cargo carriers mounted up top and it killed their fuel economy.

And we would notice that how? We don't have any fuel economy!

^ can't argue with that. Can it get worse though? Roof racks can solve the space problem, but if it drops economy as bad as I'm hearing, - maybe better off with a rear luggage mount or even an utility trailer.
