Ok guys, so I'd like to put nice leather seats (preferably heated) in my truck. I have stock gray buckets. Is it possible to keep the stock power mounts and just bolt a new seat? Has anyone else done this?

 

Swapped out my stock cloth seats for ones that came out of a Laramie. Bolted in just fine and even the power worked. They have heater elements in them...I have had some trouble for the past year finding the used wiring harness components I'd need to hook them up like stock heated seats, but yeah overall they bolt in and work just fine.

 

I'm assuming it's possible to heat cloth seats, right? I've found some seat heaters that can be added. Leather seats aren't cheap....mind if I ask how much you paid?

 

Speaking of Seats!!! I'm on leave right now in TX and just found a steal at a junkyard here in TX! The leather seats from the Raider front and back for only $300! All are in perfect condition with the electric adjustments and the lumbar support thing.... Well bad thing is I cant pick them up until June when I come back with my Dakota. Paid them a down payment and there taking them out and going to store them inside out of the sun for me.
