The Airbag recall is now alot larger on the Takata Airbags.

I check and my 2005 is now under the recall. Looks like it covers all now, Im in Canada, but also near the ocean. But not alot of humidity.

I did check before and my 05 wasnt on the list then.

My truck has been under this for a while for the inflator, but apparently the parts are not available. ..Still.

 

Make sure you wear a full face helmet until it's fixed.

 

Got mine done last month. It took a week for the parts to arrive. Dropped it off first thing in the am, picked up at lunch time. Pretty painless, unlike getting shot up by an airbag.

 

When I check the vin, it says "Repair not dont" then also "Parts not available"

Meant to call the dealer today, but didnt get time.

 

entered mine v.i.n. says im gonna die a horrible death if i drive this truck. bummer

That recall was for the airbag..... not the whole truck lol.

 

Just ran my VIN. My airbag is no good but is says remedy not yet available or something like that. I'll call the dealer this week.

 

I checked mine under Carfax, Recall on airbag since January....Its June and i just found out -___-
