I have a 2008 Dakota and have just picked up a 2007 ram with a 5.7 hemi (71k ). I want to swap the hemi into my Dakota but wonder if I have to use the trans/ tcase also. It will be a huge expense as it is all computer controls can I use an older trans or will it not work on my truck as my truck is also computer controlled trans/tcase. Any help ?
