Default Under the Rear Seat

Does anyone know what's under the rear seat of a Quad cab? From what I can tell its hollow under there and if so, I'm looking to find a way to create a gun storage place for when I travel with my hunting guns

Thanks!
Gunnar

Mainly I'm looking to put something like this under the rear seat. Basically cut a hole under the seat and drop something like this down in

Now I feel stupid haha

I found a thread with where the person took out the entire interior to install his audio system. From what it looks like, if I add a spacer to the rear seats to raise them up, and a low enough bin with cut away foam, I could make it work.

But if I'm adding spacers to the rear, I could also cut the brackets that hold the rear seat on to the back wall enough so that when the bottom seats are down, the top still locks into place, but when they come up, the rear seat raises enough to get the bracket unhooked and the top can fold down and I can just put gun mounts back there.

Have you thought of using an overhead mount to the headliner like some departments do?Or perhaps behind the rear seat against the cab?
