Default 2005 hub assembly (need knuckle advice)

Hey guys,
Got a 05 I'm trying to replace a wheel hub on. Thrown everything (plus a book) at it and it won't come out.

Been messing with it for 5 days and I've had enough. I moving on to get a used knuckle from a boneyard.

My question is I have 4 wheel ABS, which my new hub is equipped with from rockauto. But when I go to car-part.com, and I search a knuckle it ask for (exp: all wheel abs or rear wheel abs). Does this really make a difference with the knuckle since it a whole new hub with the abs sensor on it already?

Any help appreciated!

The knuckle doesn't care. All the knuckle does for ABS is support the cable between the connector and the hub.

What do you mean it won't come out? Are you 2WD or 4WD.

Should be just remove the three bolts and pop it out. Remove the axle nut also if 4WD.

With it off the ground can you bolt the wheel back on and use it for some leverage to work it loose?

"Pop Out" depends on where he lives. In the Rust Belt (anywhere they salt the roads) these like to weld themselves in to the knuckle.

There are ways to get them out, see the UsedToobs for ideas.

No lies there. My mechanic spent about two hours per wheel with it on a lift, torch, air hammer, etc. During the process a piece came off and gave him a bloody lip! I'm in full rust belt here, Over the 4 day weekend I tried to repair my lower radiator support that has completely rusted away under the radiator by putting in a new piece of flat bar. My idea was to get the tow/bull bar hook bolts out, map out the spots for the bolts and rubber radiator feet, ask the farmer down the road to use his drill press and have a custom lower support installed. I made a cheater bar to extend my wrench for leverage, finally got enough force to get the bolt to turn & after enough strange noises figured out the upper supports were turning on some rubber pads. Managed to find an old C clap that fit in the spot that I had to get creative to tighten down & turned the bolt some more. Finally made some progress and got it to move down like an 1/8th of an inch. Checked on the C clamp and it had bent from the force. I gave up and made a zip tie loop to the parts that remained up higher on the support since that beats nothing and won't rust.
