Default 2011 Quad Cab rear door seals

I recently went from a 2008 Extended cab to a 2011 Quad, I had been looking for over a year for one and finally found one if GC with 45K, I had driven several in the year long search and was taken back by the road noise coming from the rear area of the cab. I thought that I could dynamat the rear area to help reduce that sometime down the road, but discovered this weekend that the rear doors do not have any lower seals along the bottom of the doors. The front doors do but not the rears. The seals on the fronts have little push pins to hold them to the door and there are no holes in the rear doors that would suggest that there was ever anything installed there seal wise. I have looked for seals on various Mopar parts sites and see some listed but then A VIN check says they don't fit my model. I don't know if these were left off the truck because it was a last year model and maybe they ran out or if in cheapness they just omitted them after a certain year. Anybody got any ideas?

Front Door seal.

Rear Door no seal.

Mine rear doors look like yours do. When I check moparwholesalestore.com, there weren't any lower weatherstrips for the rear doors on any of the 2009-2011 Dakotas. Looks like they either weren't there during that generation or were omitted before MY2009.

I have looked for part numbers as well and best I could find is 2008 having the seals. If you look at the rear door technical drawings, the bullets pointing to the area of the seal on 2009 and later are there (albeit small) they just don't continue out far enough to show the seal like on a 2008. I ordered 2 of the 2008 seals P/N 55359350AC and will see how well they fit. When I close the rear door on my truck and look down the bottom edge, front to rear, there is at least an 1/8" gap of open air between the door and the sill.

Would love to hear how well the door seal works and if it's a direct fit.

I received the seals and fitted them to the doors, a noticable reduction of noise coming from the rear area. Not 100%, but a reduction none the less. It took all of 40 minutes to measure, mark and drill holes for the seals. A lot of caution is required as you don't want to drill or dent the outer door skin when you drill the 3/16" holes for the push tabs of the seals. I also shot the holes with some primer to prevent any rusting later. First picture will show the gap between the door and sill without the seal and then with them. I had to move the layout to miss the square holes that were already in the door, 3" off the leading egde of the door and 1-3/8" up from the bottom of the door. No trimming of the seals (P/N 55359350AC) I bought and for $17 ea. it was worth it for me.
