question about headrests/tint
ok guys, i finally decided to get my 3 rear windows darker....fronts are 15% allowing me to be able to have decent night vision but they are darker than the rears, something i dont want...i decided to have 15% put on my rear 3 windows, which with the stock will be about 3%....thats ok....my question is, how do the rear headrests come out, i know there gunna get in the way.
I know I saw a thread on that a little while ago, give me a minute I'll see if I can find it again...

That thread is for a CC though. The QC is different and I wouldthink they come off the same as the front do. Althoughyou probably already tried that. Here is the thread for the fronts anyway.

You just pull the seats out... you will need a good set of allens, or torqs heads. If you havent pulled it out befor, its not that bad, but getting the center screws out is a bit of a pain. I used an allen to get them, but thats because I couldnt get a torqs in there...
hmmm damn, i dont really want to pull the seats, im kinda lazy....i may just call him up and swing by and see if its gunna be a problem or not, if so, my appt isnt till monday (a week from today) so ill have time to do it...

Actually removing just the rear headrests is quite easy...
There is a small hole in the plastic trim piece on top of the seat that the metal bar for the headrest slides into. Fit a paper clip or something about that size and depressthe catch that holds the headrest in and pull up on the headrest. It may take a few tries, but not too tough at all.

When I had my QC tinted the tint guy was able to just lift the seat and it gave him enough clearance room between the ehadrest and the back window to maneuver back ther to get the tint on. Depends on the installer I suppose but my guy was more than capable.
