Yeah, I realized what you guys were talking about there. I was mistaken; mine does have that. I was thinking that you all had a seperate button for misting. My old truck had a seperate button that you'd hit to get the wipers to go once.

Should wait to reply to posts 'til I fully wake up from naps.

No, I was talking about the mist button that wipes the window once like mb18 is talking about. I have the sprayer button that sprays the window and then wipes it 3 or 4 times. It's the one for when you get a little water on your window and all you want to do is wipe it once. You hit the "mist" button and it only wipes the window once instead of having to turn the wipers on and then off again.

So I wasn't in a sleep induced haze when I replied? Sweeet.

I do the same, Casper...just flick them on and off quick when I only want one pass....I haven't found a button that'll do just one any other way. If anyone knows how to do that, that'd be great.

It's usually like a little tab on the wiper control lever and you just push it for one pass. My last car had it so all you did was turn the wiper **** in the opposite direction and it would do it once and automatically returns to off when you let go. Here is one from a Jeep. You can seethat you pull on it to get the mist thing. When you let go it shuts off so you can get as many are as few wipes as you want.

I used to think that those things were the most worthless Jeeps ever and then they had to come out with the Compass. I think the Compass holds reign of that position now. lol! If I was going to get a Jeep it would be one of those new Wrangler Unlimiteds with the Rubicon package!!

my truck has a mist button it just wipes the window a couple times in stead of once, same idea, just more wipes, besides the wipers dont usually get all the water in 1 swipe anyway, leaves rivers running down the windsheild, or at least mine do if only swiped once

Hey, thanks to all of you that replied regarding my concerns about my Dakota being a bit Doggie. I'll give it a chance to break in and see if synthetic oil helps it out. Damned my Hemi in my Durango is sweet!
