Yay, I just survived a 115 mile journey, through 3 inches of soft snow, slush, ice chunks, what ever you wanna say... Made it safely. I didn't spin out, unless I wanted to, well, at least not til I got home, when I did a 180 in our driveway. HahAH
Nightrunner,
I went on a cruise this summer that stopped in the same cities you visited. I had a blast as well. I would love to go back, but the wife is looking to go someplace warm. Oh well.
Dan, I think she is looking more for baking in 85 degree sun. Alaska was plenty warm for me, although it was in the 30s and raining one day. I live in PA but I'm sure she would be plenty willing to move far south.
great to see the mod keeps us on topic... LOL I drove all weekend in the fun spring snow. I had some fun busting some tiny drifts... and drifting all the corners I could find...
luke, what cruise were u on? i was on the Princess Dawn and we went thru Tracy Arm Fjord which is the one pic of the water and small ice chunks between the mountains. the last night we stayed in Victoria B.C. i must have 6-700 pics i took and all of them are post card quality. and yes it was suprisingly warm, well i thought so...it was my grad gift from the grandma who is a travel agent...shes form cali and thought it was freezing...lol...but ya, its beautiful and i really wish i could have taken that job this summer
