New member need mod advice
First hello. I might be getting a New 06 Mitsu Raider. I know this is a Dodge forum but since it is the same/similar platorm I thought this was as good a place as any. It is a 4x4 quad cab 4.7 liter. What are some of the first mods I should do to this truck? Is the front suspension torsion bars? Im kinda excited about getting this truck. My dad says that if I trade in my Colorado I will be allowed back into the family since the all drive Mopars and this truck is kinda a Mopar. Thanks again.

Yahoo!! Another (almost) Raider owner. I'm like the redheaded step child of this forum right now because I have a Raider. I've seen one other guy on here with one also but he hasn't been on in awhile. Good things to start with performance wiseare intake, exhaust, 180 t-stat, throttle body, and stage 2 jet chip. Those are easy mods to do and will give you some extra go power. No, these trucks to not have torsion bars. It is also a very good idea that you get away from that Colorado. I'm a GM fan (just trying other things and likingthem)but they would have been better off staying with the S-10. What color and model is the Raider that you are looking at.

And don't trade in your Colorado. Just torch the thing! On less piece of garbage on the planet lol.

But he could just trade it in and stick someone else with it and make a profit off the deal, too.
Not sure which would make ya feel better though.

Welcome, I have finally been seeing Raiders around and they grow on you fast. When you see one coming at you it looks very aggressive and undated. The mods all have been said and I would agree. You will most likely be looking for better shocks since three bounces are what the factory thinks is alight. I heard there are some shock choices near for marketing. Enjoy the truck.
