thanks, my birthday present to me last year, i got them mostly for biking as i do alot of off road/ mountain biking, and i meant performance parts for my bike, not my truck, my truck is just to get me through my junior and senior yeat of high school(this year and next) and yea then im trading it in for a 4x4 lower mile gen2 or if im lucky an 08 or newer dak, w/ 4x4 but those are my plans if i get my way

 

sounds good man, i too got a new truck after h/s...its my freshman year in college....great time to upgrade trucks...i really like these dakotas, but in all honesty, dont exclusively look at them unless your absolutely sure...i had the chance to get a ram, same year, 4 door, 4x4 , power all, same options i have now, but i was stubborn and wanted a night runner....found the night runner dakota before i found a night runner ram and jumped on it...i love it, and honestly, its more practicle for me, and it was cheaper, but i kinda wish i didnt jump on it so fast and looked more for a n/r ram but i got a great deal on it though and i ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT pass it up

yea i like the look of the new 08 dak, or at least the pics i have seen of it, and yea right after high school is a good time to upgrade trucks, especially if im going to be commuting to college, which at this point it does look that way, so yea ill see what they have at that point, the big thing i want is a 4x4 w/ v8 but on my budget, not a whole lot is available like that in my prive range, at least not locally

 

This is also exactly what I said, by "aNO tint law" I was referring to the whole passenger/driver side window.

honestly, if u want a deal, if u dont like the body style of my truck, wait till the 09's come out and get a "end of the year" deal on the 08's....if u like the body style of the current dakota, wait till the 08's come out and get a "end of the year deal" on the 07's.....its also not a bad idea to buy a truck that is a year or two old with relatively low miles...just carfax the truck and take into judgement (if it is selling by a private party) the type of person that is selling it...ie: do they smoke? are they young or old? ect

 

If only there were no tint laws, I'd be much happier, lol.

yea i know i almost bought an 04 QC 4x4, but my parents said well think about it and someone else bought it so im waiting till i get out of high school and then as you said hopefully the 08s w/ the new body style will be out and ill get on of them
