Default cold air intakes

i was on ebay looking for a cold air intake for my 07 4.7 and found a seller from chromeintakes and was offering intakes with all the hardware for $50, thats with shipping also. does this sound fuzzy to you all since all the other ones are over $250 or am i just missing something?

you might get better input from someone who has actually gone for one of those but im pretty sure all that does is open up ur intake a little they dont tune them or anything like K&N and airaid they just throw a tube and a filter on. i'd say its good for some extra growl noise and 1 or 2 hp, i duno about MPG since they dont do any testing on those... w/e... just dont do it probly lol.

Yeah I only know of one person on the forum who had an intake from them...and well he has recently been banned...so I doubt you'll hear from him, but I would tend to agree with Trucky. I would go with a K&N or airraid or AEM.
