Default jet chip

hey my truck is finally coming tuesday after5 months of anticipation... and i just got done ordering a stage 2 jet chip. and im gonna get it installed with my thermostat thats in my glove compartment. i will let you know how it goes.
but anyways i went ahead and got the chip because autoanything.com is having a 20$ off when you redeem the code at checkout for large orders. so i got a stage 2 for $210 shipping taxes and everything....best i have EVER seen.

That's a good deal. I got mine from AA also but at that time there was no discount deal so I paid full $230.95 but free S&H. Important: follow install instructions exactly....it's the second connector down on the PCM(white color coded). Disconnect neg batt. terminal before starting and reset PCM BEFORE reconnecting batt.: reset by turning ignition to START and holding for 15-20 sec. Some members say startingtruck 3 times one after the other and leaving it run after the third start for 5-10 minutes works for them. Seems like a waste of gas to me. I used my method when I installed my CAI, installed my Jet chip/180 t'stat, and modified throttle body install. Always worked for me, never had check engine light come on ever.

im doin self dyno. gonna put my camera on the dash display and record myself 0-60, 1/4, and WOT times from certain speeds before and after the chip. seems like a more accurate thing to do if you ask me, i will be able to see for myself the RPM changes and i'll have a timer to check the other stuff... (cheap too)
