Looks good, but is it just me or does your exhaust stick out beyond the side of the truck?

Those lights look good. I was looking into getting them too but I thought it would be hard to install them because the gap between the tailgate and bumper was not as large as on full size trucks. Even a store that sells those lights said it would be a hard install on my truck. You said it was easy so I might consider them again.

my exhaust is messed up i was backing up to a high curb and caught it . i have to get out the sawzall and cut off the tip and try to bend it back. 3 inch is gonna be a bitch. as for the install. just remove tailgate and line up the lights with the top of the bumper.

here is an item description for the fire&ice ...notice how at the bottom it says will not fit vehicles with a factory tailgate step....wtf is a tailgate step?

Item No: 10385PMG Fits: This item fits most vehicles.[/ul] Description: The Fire and Ice light bar is the first light bar on the market that works with your reverse lights. It functions as your running light, brake light, turn signals, and features bright, white LED lights when you're in reverse. The light bar easily attaches to your vehicle with double-sided tape so there is no need for drilling. The 4-pin plug connector plugs directly into your hitch plug to perform braking and turn signal functions. Or, it may also be hard-wired if that's what you prefer to do. Reverse light must be wired into existing reverse light. Light bar uses a weather-tight housing to protect the LED's and is backed by a lifetime warranty. This light bar retains full functionality of the tailgate. It will not prevent it from opening and closing properly. Notes: [ul][*]Fits most full-size step-side trucks, and most mini trucks.[*]Please be sure to measure the length below your tailgate before ordering to ensure you order the correct light bar.[*]LED light bars may not be suitable to be used as your primary lights. [/ul] Notes: Will Not Fit Vehicles With a Factory Tailgate Step[/ul]

just remeber when you remove your tailgate. you need to pull up on the passenger side and open the gate slowly to get it in the correct position to remove. then slide it to the right and it pops off. weighs about 5 lbs total.
